The Academy welcomes experienced and amateur photographers from all over the UK to join us and work with us on our shoots in the UK and abroad. Whether you are an experienced professional with your own studio and ten years experience, fresh out of learning photography at college, or wish to take photography up as a hobby we would love for you to join us!

Photographers who join us receive plenty of publicity and experience to raise awareness of their work and receive more bookings, as well as fantastic opportunities such as shooting calendars, flying with us to exotic destinations to shoot all over the world, and receiving paid work as well!

There are lots of benefits to joining us, the main one being the opportunities we present to new and existing photographers to work with us.

Up until now we have chosen photographers for jobs from their profiles, and the ones who we have enjoyed working with are now part of our official team and receive regular work from the Academy.

We have now added a 'Work for Photographers' section to the forums where photographers can regularly check for work and apply for the jobs they want to do. Whether it's for a portfolio shoot, an event, shooting at a Model Tutorial Day, or even coming abroad to an exotic location to shoot with us!

The work will not only increase your own experience as a photographer but open more doors for paid opportunities with our clients and associates. There is also the chance of having your work published all over the world in magazines and newspapers, through Kerri's contracts with leading picture syndication companies!

Many photographers had never been published before they joined us, and many had never been paid for their photography work and had only enjoyed it as a hobby. Now many of our photographers enjoy weekly publications of images they have taken at our events in national magazines and newspapers!

The majority of photographers we use on a local scale are based near us in Norwich, however we often need photographers throughout the UK for various events - from racing events, to covering beauty pageants, or our nationwide Model Tutorial Days.

We will also shortly be launching our 'Academy Photographer of 2011 Award' a competition for all new and existing photographers to not only get recognition of their work, but some great publicity and prizes as well!

The photographers memberships also include access to the new Academy social networking website in the new members area, where they can showcase their portfolios and be booked directly for jobs, as well as book models directly for work or portfolio building as well.

On joining the Academy you will receive a log in to the members area full of advice articles and tips on how to become a better photographer - from a models point of view! It's easy to find advice on the best camera to use, shutter speeds and so on from any photography magazine or shop, so our articles are focused on how to work with the models to ensure they want to book you for shoots time and time again!

You'll find advice on how to pose models, styling them with outfits and accessories, and different locations and studio ideas to try. All articles are written by Kerri, who with over seven years experience as a full time model, and having worked with photographers all over the world, she is in the perfect position to tell you what turns you from an average photographer to work with - to an exceptional one.
