Miss Devonshire

The Academy is very excited to announce that it is running the Miss Devonshire official heat for The Miss Great Britain contest in 2010, and hopefully for years to come!

Kerri was previously the Miss Norwich winner for The Miss Great Britain contest in her early years of modelling, and is thrilled to be taking over so many of the regional heats throughout the UK.

10 finalists will compete in the live final, with the winner then going on to the Miss Great Britain grand final this November!

The Miss Devonshire final will be held at the Courtlands House hotel in Exeter, on Saturday 7th August.

The finalists will compete in swimsuit, clubwear, and evening wear rounds and will also be interviewed by Kerri on stage as well.

Prizes up for grabs for the winner include a years membership to The Kerri Parker Academy, and a professional portfolio shoot with all images to keep as well as a tiara and winners sash to take with her to the grand final in November!

About the venue...

The Courtlands House Hotel is an elegant Grade II listed Georgian Mansion House set in over 25 acres of private gardens and park land overlooking the picturesque River Exe with panoramic views across to Powderham Estate and the Haldon Hills.

The perfect venue of choice for the Miss Devonshire final, with beautiful grounds and gardens for the finalists and their friends and family to enjoy. The Academy is also holding a Model Tutorial Day here on the day of the final, and we could not find a more beautiful to place to shoot in all of Devon. You can view their website here.

Rules and regulations of entering:

On entering this pageant you confirm that you are not married, have never posed topless, and are over 18 years of age this October 31st 2010 ready for the final in November. The winner of each regional heat will need to supply a copy of their passport to prove their age. If the winner was found to be breaking these terms and conditions then the judges are within their right to strip them of the title and offer the position to the second place runner up. The organisers are within their right to demand the return of the winners prizes if such a case arose. Contestants must not be involved in any activities that may bring the Academy or Miss Great Britain contest into disrespute.

There can be no refunds of the £50 sponsorship fee under any circumstances, as all monies are either paid to Miss Great Britain for the franchise title, or will have been paid as expenses to the venue and other costs of running the contests.
