Hi and welcome to my Photographer's Academy. We have a good mixture of photographers inside the Academy, from professionals who own their own studio's and photography businesses, to amatuer photographers and those with no experience.

Whatever your level of experience there is something inside for you!

Photographer profiles

Showcase your portfolio with up to 20 images on your unique photographer profile, with information about you, and how to contact you as well. This is the perfect chance to be seen and booked for photography work.

This is also ideal for photographers without a website who want to show others their work and link to it.

Kerri personally gives references to all photographers she has worked with, or has got to know inside the Academy so girls know they are working with someone professional.

You will be given your own unique url to link to on social networking sites and promote your photography services with.

Forums

Inside the forums you can chat with the other 400 Academy members, including models and photographers from all over the UK. Share tips and advice from other photographers, keep up to date with the latest Academy events and photographic days, and book models for work.

You are welcome to advertise for models in the forum for any photoshoots or projects you are working on, whether its paid work or TFP you'll find a selection of models hoping to work with you. All of the Academy models are very reliable and dedicated to their work, and many come with references from Kerri on their profiles, so you know the girl you are booking is not going to let you down.

Advice section

Here you will find advice articles that will help you as a photographer, when booking and shooting male and female models. Find advice on how to style the models and how to pose them, and ideas for photo shoots and locations. You can also find out how to get published and get your work into national magazines and newspapers.

In the advice section you will find new articles added every month, from learning photoshop skills and image retouching, to different themes to try in your shoots every month!

If there is something you need advice on you'll find plenty of photographers in the forums happy to help, and Kerri is always on hand to offer advice if your stuck for inspiration for a photoshoot, or if you need her to find you a model.

Styling section

Often you may find yourself with a new model who doesn't have a clue what to bring with her on the shoot, how to pose, and what to wear. Totally reliant on you, you need to know how to advise her, and this is where Kerri's articles will help you style the model and get them posing correctly to ensure the perfect image.

Find out how to get make up artists to help with the shoot for a minimal charge, and what to tell the girls to do themselves to prepare for the shoot. Find out how you can use your friends as stylists for you, and ideas for outfits that models should bring with them.

It's hard if you are new yourself to photography and not quite sure how to style and pose the model, so make sure you read Kerri's articles so when the model asks you how to stand you already know some poses for her to try.

Academy events

We hold monthly events at the Academy, our most popular being the Model Tutorial Days where you can shoot up to 20 models for your portfolio for just a small charge of £15! The same photographers come back every month and we try and vary our locations throughout the year.

We also hold various photographic days throughout the year, only available to Academy photographers. These range from shooting Kerri and her models in a group shoot for a small fee of just £20.00 for the half day, to TFP days organised by Kerri for her new models to gain experience and get some images for their portfolio's.

The events you will find in the Academy will help you develop and build your portfolio, and save you hundreds in model fee's! Professional photographers also like to attend as where else can you shoot some of the UK's finest new models for next to nothing?! Make sure you discover the next big model at one of our events this year.

So you will not only build your portfolio, but you'll get to spend a fun day meeting other photographers and models and build great working relationships for future projects in the future.
