We are pleased to bring you our new Pageant Training School, to help you succeed not only in our Model of the Year contest and our other modelling competitions, but in all regional, national and international beauty pageants! Set up and run by Kerri Parker who has almost ten years experience in the pageant industry - Kerri has not only won regional and national titles she has also represented England at International Finals and won world titles. Kerri has since judged many heats for Miss England and Miss Great Britain amongst other pageants and contests - and so knows exactly what the judges are looking for!
Kerri has recently worked as a judge for the Zoo magazine Student Glamour Awards, the Modified Nationals car show Bikini Babes contest, and Miss England heats - Miss and Mr Peterborough, and Miss Norwich.
From running the Model of the Year contest for the last four years in a row, and also running the Miss Norfolk, Miss Suffolk and Miss Devonshire finals for the Miss Great Britain organisation - Kerri has quickly seen a trend in what it takes to succeed and win beauty pageants. The Pageant Training School has been set up to pass this knowledge onto you - and help you excel in all pageants and live modelling competitions.

When the spotlight is on you - as well as the eyes of the judges and over 500 guests it can be pretty nerve wrecking! Kerri used to shy away from public speaking as a teenager and was too scared to even stand up and talk in class - and now she presents on stage to sometimes thousands of people at events! |

| Kerri will teach you how she overcome her nerves and how to look confident when you are being interviewed, how to address the presenter, the judges and the crowd and how to talk calm and collectively! Kerri will advise you on what sort of questions you may be asked, and how to give the perfect answer for each of them. You will be asked about interesting hobbies or your job and studies to find something that you can talk about in pageants to show the judges you have brains as well as beauty. The interview is the section of the pageant where the judges make up their mind about who they want to win - so you will have the chance to practice interviews at the Pageant Training School to ensure yours wins you the crown on the night. Booking your place on the Pageant Training SchoolThe Pageant Training Day is included in the Model of the Year semi finalist entry fee which costs just £50 and also includes membership to the new Model of the Year website and online Pageant Training School full of advice articles to help you succeed in pageants. Girls aged 13 and upwards are welcome at the Pageant Training School, anyone under the age of 17 must have parental permission to attend and parents are welcome to come along and watch at no extra cost. With monthly events in Norwich and a date in London later in the summer there are plenty of events to attend. The £50 fee also includes entry to the Model of the Year and Teen Model of the Year 2011 semi finals with unlimited free entry to all competition heats and no entry fee payable should you reach the grand final!
