Welcome to our Model Tutorials in the Sun, the Academy holds various trips throughout the year to exotic locations around the world to shoot portfolios for new and existing models. 2010 and 2011 saw fantastic trips abroad to Egypt and Majorca, shooting a variety of portfolios and model calendars, and we will once again be returning to Egypt this January 2012! We will also be returning to Spain for the summer in 2012 for yet another fantastic trip for new and existing models, and to shoot official calendars! Our Egypt trip is back once again! This is the third time the Academy will have taken our girls here for shoots on the Red Sea Riviera, and the ninth time Kerri has shot here herself! Lots of Academy girls shot here with us in 2010 so make sure you join them with the portfolio experience of a lifetime!

Our Model of the Year Winner's Zoiey Marie and Samantha Crossman, and Top Swimwear Model Winner Corrine Lee will both be joining us on this trip to shoot their 2012 calendars as well as part of their competition prizes from us!

The trip will feature a weeks holiday in Egypt in a 4 Star Resort right on the Red Sea in Sharm El Shaikh! With it's private beach, luxurious pools, and all inclusive food and drink throughout the week you will be able to enjoy a fantastic girly holiday as well as the portfolio experience!

The resort has plenty of shops, restaurants and bars on it's doorstep for those wanting to go out in the evenings, and the clubs of Naama Bay are just a short taxi ride away. Alcoholic drinks and cocktails are all part of the all inclusive package meaning you do not have to spend a penny more to have lots of fun on this trip!

For those wanting a more relaxing break there are plenty of outside lounges to sip a cocktail under the stars, watch the evenings entertainment, or even relax with a good book in the comfort of your own private balcony or terrace as the sun sets over the Sinai mountains.

A variety of restaurants, bars and beach cafes throughout the resort mean you can have lunch by the pool or on the beach, or at the main restaurants. All your meals are included as well as snacks and drinks (water, tea and coffee, soft drinks, cocktails and alcoholic beverages.) as well as a meal at the various themed Al a Carte restaurants as well!

Girls can sunbath by one of the many pools or on the beach between shoots, or have fun snorkelling on the reefs! Shoots will take place in the afternoons through to the early evening leaving the girls free to top up their tans in the daytime, there will also be a sunrise shoot as well for those who want to get up very early - it's well worth it trust us! Shoots will take place around the pools and grounds of the resort, and on the beach and in the Red Sea as well.

   
       
       

Trip information

Girls will fly from London on the 26th January for the 7 night break at the 4 star resort. The total cost of the trip is just £699 per person, reduced from our previous trip price of £899! The price includes:
  • Flights and Transfers - Return flights from a London airport (Luton or Gatwick) and transfers to and from the resort to the airport.
  • Accomodation - Sharing a twin or family room at the resort with air conditioning and private balcony/terrace
  • Food - Food and drink is included on an all inclusive basis including all meals, snacks, soft drinks, water, cocktails, hot drinks and alcohol!
  • Hair and make up/false lashes - Hair and make up touch ups are included on the trip, including 3 pairs of false eyelashes for you to keep as well. Models are required to get themselves ready to shoot with final touches applied for them.
  • Shoots - Daily shoots with the Academy photographer, shoots will be done by the pool and on the beach, with a variety of sunrise and sunset options to shoot as well.
  • All images on DVD - You will keep every image from the trip on DVD to take away in high resolution and logo free to use as you wish. You can use the images for your portfolio or send them to agencies and magazines, many girls from our trips have had their images printed in Nuts, Zoo, FHM and many other men's magazines.
  • Image retouching - Your favourite five images from the trip will also be professionally retouched by the Academy team. The photographer also usually retouches lots more for the girls as well!
  • 2012 Calendar - You will have your favourite images made into your very own 2012 official A3 calendar designed, printed and produced by our partners and placed on our online store! You will have the option of earning money from each calendar sold, so make sure you bring 12 different bikini's with you - one for each month! You also have the option of producing a 2013 calendar from the images as well at no extra cost.
You will receive a Model Handbook written by Kerri with examples of poses to try on the beach, as well as training and advice from her throughout the week on the trip. So if you have no idea how to pose do not worry as Kerri and her team will help you every step of the way. Learn all about the model industry whilst sunbathing by the pool, or sipping cocktails in the evening!
   

Booking onto the trip

To book onto the trip please contact us here. You have the option of paying in monthly installments if you wish, a £400 deposit is due to book you onto the trip. On booking onto the trip and paying a deposit you agree to the terms and conditions stated here: 1. On booking onto the trip you agree to pay the full cost of £699 in full, and if paying in installments you agree to pay them by the set date. You agree to pay any legal costs in recovering the remainder of the installements if you do not pay.

2. No refunds can be given once you have been booked onto the trip through the travel agents as they will not refund any monies paid. 3. Please ensure you have adequate travel insurance in place who will be able to cover the cost of your holiday in an emergency i.e loss of passport, sickness and so on. It is a legal requirement that you book travel insurance and by booking onto this trip you agree that you have travel insurance - or will purchase it before you travel. A single European trip policy can cost as little as £10 and not only covers your holiday, but personal belongings, personal injury and sickness abroad. You will also be required to get a European health card which is free and covers you for sickness in Europe, you can find more details about this here. If you wish for us to purchase travel insurance for you we can do this at a cost of £25 to cover the insurance policy and admin fee's.

4. You are required to find your own transport to the airport and back again, there are usually models and photographers from all over the country attending so you may be able to car share to cut costs. 5. You will be required to check in at least two hours before departure, you will be advised to meet the Academy team 3 hours before departure at the airport so we can all check in together. If you miss the flight it is up to you to claim under your travel insurance no refunds will be given from the Academy or the travel company. The Academy always arranges meeting points and times on each trip.

6. You agree to act in a friendly and professional manner at all times, we want you to enjoy a holiday and a few drinks in the evening - we are not there to babysit you and tell you how to act. However you must be nice to the Academy team, resort staff and other girls at all times, we do not accept nasty behaviour on our trips. 7. We advise you do not go anywhere alone whist abroad - whilst the resorts are very safe please do not walk outside the resort or go into town alone. Kerri can advise you on the safest options and where to go, how to get taxi's and so on if you do wish to go somewhere in a small group. Your safety on this trip is of highest importance and you agree not to endanger yourself whilst on our trip by going off alone or by using unlicensed taxi's.

8. If unforseen circumstances arise which are out of our control then your trip will be rescheduled through the travel company as per there terms and conditions. These circumstances can include volcanic activity, 'random acts of god', terrorism and so on. If this is to happen then we will carry forward the portfolio shoots to when the travel company can reschedule the holiday and rebook the entire trip at no expense to you or us. From booking through a major tour operator such as them you are covered should such circumstances arise. No refunds will be given for Academy fee's paid to us as these would have already been spent through the travel company on sending our team out there as well. Should the travel or flight companies chose not to refund you this is out of the control of the Academy however this is why you must take out insurance. We will take out our own insurance to cover sending out our team in this instance as well. On booking onto the trip you agree to these terms and conditions in full.
