Model Tutorial Days have been running in Norwich for almost two years now, with each event selling out quickly and hundreds of new and existing models coming along to shoot for their portfolios and receive model training from us. Kerri decided to hold a few events throughout the UK including Model Tutorial Days in London, the North West, and Devon. The response from girls was astounding and so we have decided to set up our Model Tutorial Days on a national scale.

Using leading studio's in each area, and run by top photographers you will now find Model Tutorial Days all around the UK, with even more locations being added for 2011! We are currently holding regular events in Devon, various locations around the North West, Peterborough and Cambridge, on top of our monthly events in Norwich. We will shortly be launching events in other areas too so stay tuned to see if there is one close to you.

We are currently redesigning the new Model Tutorial Days website to feature every single studio and location, with example shots and biographies of all the professional photographers who will be running the events for us, so you get to know a bit more about them and where you will be shooting. In the meantime we have provided as much information as we can about each event on the Academy store!
 
       
   

Each Model Tutorial Day around the UK will vary, depending on the studio facilities and locations, and the team of professional photographers running the event. On some locations you may be shooting in an indoor swimming pool and spa, and on others you may be shooting in a state of the art studio or gothic castle set!

Each Model Tutorial Day has more detailed information about it inside the Academy store where you can also book your place. Here you will find more information such as the sets and locations, any themes or styles for the day, and which professional photographers you will be working with.

When booking onto a Model Tutorial Day you will receive a personal training guide from Kerri to help you prepare for the event. This will help you chose outfits, and offer fitness, healthy eating and beauty advice to ensure you look your best on the day.

At each Model Tutorial Day you will get the chance to work with a variety of professional photographers to build your portfolio, shooting on different sets and backdrops.

By working with a team of professional photographers you will not only receive more of a variety in your images (and more of them!) but also get to experience how different photographers work, and how they get you to pose.

Whether you are new to the industry, or already have some experience you will be taught how to pose in your shots, and be offered advice on how you can make it as a model. Some events focus on specialist training such as catwalk, with purpose built staging, others focus on the photographic aspect teachng you how to model in front of the camera.

Whatever the day has in store for you, it is guaranteed that you will make some great new friends, have an amazing time, and leave with much more confidence, as well as a knowledge of the modelling industry and how to get started out.
       
 

Unlike many model training schools charging hundreds and not offering any (or very few) images included in the price of the day, we have put together a fantastic package for you with our Model Tutorial Day events. Each Model Tutorial Day around the UK starts at just £60 per person! Themed and specialist events may cost slightly more as they cost us more to run, however you will still be offered a fantastic deal that no other company can match!

Each event will vary on what is included depending on the location and facilities available, you will find more information on what the event includes on the Academy store. Some events include lunch and refreshments, or catwalk training for example.

Here is a list of the things you will find at EVERY Model Tutorial Day event which you book onto:

  • Training from Kerri: You will receive a training guide written by Kerri on booking the event, this will help you prepare for the day with outfits, beauty, fitness and diet advice to ensure you look your best. Whilst Kerri does not attend these events you will receive her full support leading up to the event, and afterwards as well.
  • Training from Kerri's team: At the event you will receive training and advice from Kerri's team of professional photographers and assistants, showing you how to pose and stand in your photoshoots, and advising you on how you can make it in the modelling industry.
  • Photoshoots: Lots and lots of photoshoots! You will get the chance to shoot with a variety of professional photographers in different locations and settings, see how many outfit changes you can do in one day! We recommend taking ten changes if not more so whatever the location you have something suitable.
  • CD of images: You will get all of the images from the day on CD in high resolution to keep for your portfolio.
