In the few years the Academy has been running, we have never paid to advertise, as we just don't need to! We only rely on press and magazine features, and word of mouth to let people know about what we do, and this leads to hundreds of thousands of website hits a month! This also allows us to keep our prices low for the models to benefit from!

So we decided to reward you all for spreading the word about us to everyone you know! You do not have to be a member to refer a friend to the Academy, and you can even spend the vouchers you earn to pay for your membership! You can also spend your rewards on Model Tutorial Days, private portfolio shoots and much more! There are even extra special treats in store for those referring lots of people to the Academy.

You can refer friends with no experience who would like to give modelling a try, existing new and experienced models, and even photographers you know and work with! You can refer people who ask you where you got your portfolio images from if they were done at one of our events, or those who ask how you got started out. You can even set up a Facebook page or group promoting our events and services.

Referring a friend can be as simple as asking round to see if any of your friends want to come to a Model Tutorial Day when you book in yourself - if you bring 3 friends with you then you get enough vouchers to come to the next one for free!

How to refer people

When referring your friends, models, or photographers you know to attend a Model Tutorial Day or event, simply get them to let you know when they pay. Once you have heard from them simply contact us (or even get them to email us) to let us know you have referred them, and we will note your new £10 voucher on our systems. Alternatively you can drop us a message with their email address, letting us know they wish to book and we will take it from there.

When referring people to join the Academy, it gets a bit easier - all you have to do is get them to fill in your full name on the joining page. Where it says 'Promotional team code' get them to write your full name in this box (see right hand image) and to ensure they do not forget to put your name in tell them if they do - they will receive two months free added on to their membership!

We will then note on our systems that you have received a £5 voucher. This works the same whether you are referring photographers or models to the Academy, get them to fill in the same box.
