Model Tutorial Day - May 2009 Indulge Bar

The Model Tutorial Days were officially launched in May 2009, with the event being held in Norwich at Indulge Bar, on Queen Street. Up until this time the events had only really focused on the makeovers and portfolio shoots, but Kerri wanted to add something more and train the new models as well. So the Model Tutorial Day brand was formed focusing on training the models in catwalk, posing, interview techniques and public speaking.

Over 20 models took part in the day which included a professional make over, model training and advice from Kerri, and various photoshoots for their portfolio. The images shown here were taken by official Academy photographer Lee Harvey who set his lighting up against the grey leather background.

Other photographers used the downstairs Vault and upstairs rooms for more photo shoots for the girls, ensuring they got a great variety of images for their portfolio's. At our Model Tutorial Days in Norwich our official studio photographer Mark Germany brings his studio set ups, so the girls can have those all important studio images for their portfolio's. I have included a few of Marks images in this gallery along with Lee's, May featured white and red studio backgrounds. At each Model Tutorial Day the set up is different as many girls come back time and time again!

All the girls took part in a live modelling contest to win a place in The Model of the Year grand final, in which Danielle Sheehan aged 18 from Norwich walked away as the winner!
