Previous Model of the Year contests

The Model of the Year contest was created by Kerri in 2008 to help new models gain experience, and receive lots of exposure. Since then, the competition has grown and grown with over 1000 girls entering the 2009 grand final, and with coverage on the BBC seen by millions. Featured here are the winners and all of the finalists from the competitions over the last two years.

Model of the Year 2009 Winner - Talitha Minnis

The Model of the Year 2009 contest was held at Sprowston Manor in Norwich on November 20th, where 30 finalists competed for the chance to take home The Model of the Year 2009 crown.

The winner on the evening was Talitha Minnis, aged 17 from Lowestoft, taking home some fantastic prizes including her own website and £1000 worth of vouchers for Max Giammello Hair Salon in Norwich.

In second place was Emma Watson from Norwich, and in third place Danielle Sheehan from Diss. All three girls featured in live radion interviews on the BBC a week later talking about how they got on in the contest.

    
     

Model of the Year 2008 Winner - Jade Priestley

The Model of the Year 2008 grand final was held at Mercy Nightclub Norwich on December 6th 2008, where 25 finalists competed to take home The Model of the Year 2008 crown.

The judges chose Jade Priestley from Norwich as The Model of the Year 2008 winner.

Jade took home over £10,000 worth of prizes, and the cover of the official 2009 Model of the Year calendar.
