For 2010 we have introduced a sponsorship fee for each contestant who takes part in The Model of the Year grand final this November.

This will be set at a £50 sponsorship fee required per contestant, and by charging this fee not only can we make The Model of the Year grand final an even more spectacular event, but also allow us to add even more prizes for all the winners and all of the finalists.

Using this new sponsorship we will offer The Model of the Year winner an all expenses paid trip to Egypt in 2011, to shoot her portfolio and calendar on the Red Sea Riviera in a package worth £1000! As well as even more prizes to all of our finalists!

With many competitions ripping girls off by charging up to £600 for their national finals, and some regional finals charging up to £250 to enter, we feel this £50 sponsorship fee will be enough to cover the new prizes we wish to add, and other things needed to continue to improve the event, whilst offering a fair deal to the models.

In exchange for the £50 sponsorship, companies will receive a fantastic publicity package leading up to the event, and at the actual final itself, as well as receiving VIP tickets to the event.

The Academy will actively help find each finalist a sponsor, as we do not want girls paying it out of their own pocket. This will include press articles and publicity events to help the girls find sponsorship.

Included in the sponsorship fee each girl will receive a portfolio shoot on the day of the final worth £100 with all images to keep on CD for no charge! So we are offering much more to every finalist as well by introducing this charge.

We hope you find this fair and understand it is needed to help The Model of the Year final grow into one of the largest modelling contests in the UK, as well as to introduce the amazing new prizes such as the trip to Egypt which will be funded by the sponsorship payments.

Sponsors can be in the form of family and friends who run a company and want some publicity, the finalists employer, or even a local beauty salon or local newspaper. Companies are also welcome to chose a finalist from the list shown here and offer them sponsorship.

Sponsoring one of the finalists is a great way to get the name of your company out there, and for 500 guests to see on the night of the final! Local companies especially will benefit from the publicity at the event.
