2008 Contest and Finalists

Model of the Year 2008 winner was Jade Priestley from Norwich who works as a primary school teacher!

The public voted Emma Watts as their favourite to win a shoot with Kerri for Loaded magazine! Emma also recently signed with Neon Management!

The Model of the Year 2008 grand final was held at Mercy Nightclub Norwich on December 6th 2008. Over 400 people came along to watch the 25 finalists compete in 3 rounds: Clubwear, the bikini round, and an evening wear round where the girls were also interviewed.

Kerri hosted the event and presented on stage alongside SKY TV presenter Rob Lamarr, while make up artists from House of Fraser in Norwich, and hair sytlist Max Giamello and his team worked backstage making sure the girls looked amazing!

Local X-Factor girlband EFX put on a fantastic live performance whilst the girls changed for the evening wear round backstage, giving Max and his team time to give the girls another hair style for the next round!

Our judges for the evening included Steven Day from Thundersport GB, who is using the academy to book Grid Girls for 2009, Alban from Alban Pix who shoots for The Sun and The Daily Star, local newsreader Neil Perry, and journalist Rachel Killingham.

The judges chose Jade Priestley from Norwich as The Model of the Year 2008 winner. Jade took home over £10,000 worth of prizes, the cover of the official 2009 Model of the Year calendar, and became the face of the academy for 2009.
