Miss Norfolk

The Academy is very excited to announce that it has bought the Miss Norfolk franchise to run the official heat for The Miss Great Britain contest in 2010, and for years to come. Kerri was previously the Miss Norwich winner for The Miss Great Britain contest in her early years of modelling and is thrilled to be taking over the contest.

She has since then judged the Miss Norwich heats and has changed the name to Miss Norfolk to cover a wider area for girls to enter in the region. The Miss Norfolk final will be held this May at the prestigious Sprowston Manor with 40 contestants competing for the title.

There will be over £1000 worth of prizes up for grabs in the Miss Norfolk heat - one of the only regional heats to offer a large prize jackpot! Prizes are detailed below with more prizes coming soon!

Latest News - Pageant to appear on Channel 4!

The Miss Norfolk pageant has already been seen in the Eastern Daily Press, the Evening News, the Mercury, Heart FM and Mad Dog magazine ensuring plenty of publicity for all it's finalists! Now we are pleased to announce that Channel 4 are filming a documentary and including the Miss Norfolk pageant in their filming! They will be filming and interviewing the finalists and the team behind the pageant, filming throughout the day and the live final in the evening. All contestants wishing to appear on TV much sign their release forms.

The finalists have also been working hard for Heart FM's Have a Heart Appeal and have already raised around £2000 for the cause! We will be raising more money on the evening with a charity raffle and prize for the finalist who raises the most money for the cause!

And the winner is...!

Congratulations to Louise Daynes, a legal secretary aged 19 from Norwich who walked away as the winner of Miss Norfolk 2010 at the final! Louise won over £1500 worth of prizes including £500 worth of Max Giammello hair salon vouchers and a £500 professional website from Broadland Media Design. Louise will be attending the Miss Great Britain final later this year and we know she will do us proud!

In second place was Emma Elphick from Dereham, and in third place was Danielle Sheehan from Diss. Charlotte Bunting and Zoe Grant also made the top 5! Well done to all the gorgeous girls who competed for the title, every single one was amazing on stage.

		BroadlandMediaDesign Ltd are sponsoring the event by offering a £500 professional website to the winner including full design, domain and hosting for 2 years, an online portfolio with a homepage, model portfolio / bio and contact page.
