The Face Of Europe was launched in 2010, in search of a winner to be crowned at the ultimate venue - Disneyland® Paris, in the fashion capital of the world! The Face Of Europe will be the first ever beauty pageant to be held at Disneyland® Paris, and we're searching for the first girls to ever share this unique experience! The Academy will be running the Face of East Anglia 2011 competition - sending the winner on the pageant experience of a lifetime at the grand final in Disneyland® Paris! The grand final at Disneyland® Paris will take place between the 5th - 9th December 2011 and we are delighted to be able to offer entrants the opportunity to compete for the coveted title in the most magical arena in Europe. The Face of East Anglia 2011 winner will enjoy a visit to one of the most famous cities and landmarks in the world, reacquainting herself with childhood favourites whilst enjoying the enchantment of Disneyland® Paris during the Christmas Season. The winner of the Face of East Anglia will receive return travel to Paris, 3 nights accomodation at a Disney themed hotel as well as day passes to both Disneyland Park and Disney Studios, and lots of other fantastic prizes as well! And the winner is....! Congrats to Eisha Acton who walked away as the Face of East Anglia winner on Sunday 4th September 2011. Eisha wowed the judges and will be jetting off to Disneyland Paris for the final! |
| 22 finalists took to the stage at Project Nightclub on Sunday 4th September to compete for the Face of East Anglia title and crown. They took part in casual wear, club wear, evening wear and sports wear rounds and were interviewed on stage by Channel 5 TV presenter Rob Lamarr as well! In the day the girls took part in a press photoshoot at Ladbrokes where they also received free bets with the chance to win £500! You can view the girls in the press feature online here if you missed the newspaper features. Judges included Matt from Thundersport GB racing series, World Champion kickboxer Gary Briggs, professional boxer and ultra athlete Jackson Williams, Mr Olympia finalist Steve King, and professional model Natalie Money. The judges chose Eisha Acton from Cambridge the winner - who was also sponsored by Ladbrokes as one of four girls they chose to support! Katie Ballam came second, with Poppy Moon in third place. Miss Charity winners were Karla Doyle and Rebecca Turner in close second place for the title, and the Miss Popualarity Award went to Mica Anema. The Miss Congeniality Award was chosen by all of the finalists and went to Stephanie Moore! The Top 12 will all be shooting for an official 2012 calendar - keep your eyes peeled for this coming soon! A big thank you to Ladbrokes, Godfrey Morgan Solicitors and GMS Law who all officially sponsored the competition. We could not have put on such a fantastic event without their help and support. |
